Driving Innovation in Offshore Asset Management: Force55 Joins the TIGGOR Project

Force55 were delighted to receive the news that they had been selected to participate in the TIGGOR Innovation Project, contributing to the development of an ‘Over-Arching Software Platform’. This prestigious opportunity, in collaboration with the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (OREC) and Unasys Ltd, marks a major step forward in revolutionising how offshore renewable energy infrastructure (OREI) assets are tracked, monitored, and managed.

The core objective of the TIGGOR project is to develop a holistic, integrated approach to asset tracking and resource management throughout the entire lifecycle of offshore renewable assets. Traditionally, the offshore sector has relied on multiple fragmented software packages, each covering separate functions with minimal interconnectivity. This fragmented landscape often leads to inefficiencies, duplicated processes, and challenges in achieving full operational visibility and control.

The new Over-Arching Software Platform aims to overcome these challenges by unifying disparate systems into one intuitive and intelligent interface. With Force55’s extensive expertise in real-time tracking, communication networks, and situational awareness technologies, the project will deliver a comprehensive solution designed to improve safety, optimise operations, and streamline asset management.

By creating a single source of truth for offshore operators, this innovative platform will empower decision-makers to manage people, vessels, and equipment more efficiently. The enhanced integration supports proactive maintenance, better resource allocation, and more informed strategic planning — ultimately reducing costs and boosting the overall reliability of offshore renewable energy assets.

Force55’s inclusion in this cutting-edge project demonstrates its commitment to driving technological innovation and partnering with industry leaders to set new standards in offshore operations.
