On the 12th November 2024, A memorandum of understanding between the Blyth Catapult DARE & The National Robotarium was signed by Cristina Garcia Duffy, Director – Research & Technical Capabilities and Stewart Miller CEO.
Force55 Ltd had been requested to install surface and sub-surface communication system in relation to the proposed presentation and demonstration event. Subsea-positioning systems were provided by Sonardyne International Ltd, and BeeX demonstrated the Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) capabilities of the HAUV system within the wet-dock facility. All subsequent remote positioning and status of the BeeX ROV were captured in real-time as represented within the F55 WatchTower Suite platform.
